Syeda Sharika Arafin is a passionate and results-oriented development professional with over six years of experience in the NGO and INGO sectors. Since 2018, she has worked on impactful projects in Girls’ Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Youth Empowerment, and Menstrual Hygiene Management. Known for her strong skills in project management, community engagement, communication, and training facilitation, consistently exceeds expectations and delivers transformative solutions. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Governance and Development Studies at Jahangirnagar University, specializing in socio-economic development and policy analysis. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the National University, blending a solid financial foundation with a strategic, sustainable approach to development work. Throughout her career, Sharika has made significant contributions to organizations like Shaathi Bangladesh Ltd., Room to Read Bangladesh and Sheba.xyz, SERAC-Bangladesh, and BYLC-USAID Bijoyee Projects. Her commitment to creating lasting social change has made her a key player in the development field. Outside of work, Syeda is an avid reader, loves traveling, and has a passion for art—interests that fuel her creativity and broaden her global perspective.
