Aouana Marzia Monadi is an educator and has worked for more than 15 years on an impactful journey that spans diverse educational realms, including inclusive and special education. She was a senior lecturer at the Proyash Institute of Education and Research of Bangladesh University of Professionals. She also worked as a national research consultant for UNICEF and ADB in Bangladesh. She completed her academic degrees in Education and Inclusive Education from the University of Dhaka and Monash University, Australia.
In addition, her international exposure includes research presentations and professional training in Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, the UK, the USA, and Canada. She started her career at an inclusive school as a special teacher for the visually impaired and ECDP teacher at ‘Proyash’ under the Bangladesh Army Welfare Trust. She was the first principal and founder member at the ‘Ashar Alo’ special education institute for the Bangladesh Navy Family Welfare Association. Her work experience abroad was at Inclusion Melbourne and Pearson Australia. She enjoys reading, cooking, knitting, and traveling.
