Ella is a Senior Advisor of RedOrange. She supports the staff in getting more knowledge about sexual and reproductive health and rights and gender issues. Also she provides supports in project development on SRHR and gender and opens her comprehensive professional network to RedOrange to get RedOrange more integrated in the world of SRHR and Gender.
Ella is a sociologist and worked for more than 16 years for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Human Rights, Gender and SRHR. She worked in Sudan, Guatemala and Bangladesh. In Bangladesh she worked for the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands on SRHR and gender. Before her work for the ministry she worked almost 30 years in different positions in the Dutch education sector as a teacher and as an advisor.
