Jannatul Munia is working as the Deputy Director, Operations at RedOrange Communications, a leading international communication agency in the development sector in Bangladesh.
Jannatul Munia is a seasoned professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in project management and strategic communication. Beginning her journey with a bachelor’s degree in Genetic Engineering from the University of Dhaka, she discovered her passion for the development sector in Bangladesh. Building on her foundation, she pursued a master’s degree in Development Studies from BRAC University and obtained additional certification in Non-Profit Management from Harvard Extension University. With nine years of multifaceted experience in domains essential for project management and eight years dedicated to information and communication, she has refined her skills to manage long-term communication projects in media engagement, visibility, behavior change communication, advocacy and knowledge management. Throughout her career, she has provided management and backstopping support to various projects supported by prominent funders including USAID, ECHO, DRL, the European Union, Nuffic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands, and GIZ. As a backstopping support for the EU Strategic Communication Project for Bangladesh 2024-2027, Jannatul brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure the project’s success in Bangladesh.
