Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of high-quality content for awareness, advocacy, communication, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Create engaging and audience-specific content for print, digital, social media, web, and multimedia platforms.
Develop Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, including brochures, leaflets, posters, factsheets, success stories, case studies, newsletters, and campaign materials.
Produce reports, articles, feature stories, blogs, speeches, scripts, and other communication products to support project objectives.
Gather information from field activities, stakeholder consultations, and project interventions to develop compelling and evidence-based content.
Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, style, and quality across all communication materials.
Collaborate with communication specialists, graphic designers, media professionals, and technical experts to develop impactful content products.
Support awareness generation and behavior change communication initiatives through strategic content development.
Review, edit, and quality-assure communication materials and project documentation.
Prepare content-related reports, documentation, and knowledge products highlighting project achievements, lessons learned, and best practices.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification
Postgraduate Degree in Mass Communication, Development Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in content development, communication, media, journalism, or related fields.
At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in:
– Content creation, reporting, and professional writing;
– Development of awareness generation and IEC materials for development-sector projects;
– Producing communication products through multiple channels, including print, digital, social media, and mass media platforms.
Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content.
Strong experience in storytelling, publication development, knowledge management, and communication campaigns.
Experience working with government agencies, development partners, NGOs, or donor-funded projects will be considered an advantage.
Excellent writing, editing, communication, and documentation skills in English and Bangla.
