Sumit Banik is a seasoned public health professional from Bangladesh with over 10 years of experience in field research, policy advocacy, and program management. He has worked with renowned national and international organizations, including AYAT Education, BNPS, ICDDR,B, BSMMU, and Fundación Intervida, focusing on improving access to quality healthcare services through policy advocacy, operational research, and impactful writing.
Beyond programmatic roles, Sumit is deeply involved in development journalism and content creation, using storytelling to highlight critical public health issues in Bangladesh. As a trainer for a national NGO, he has also contributed to strengthening the capacity of professionals in the health and development sector.
