About RedOrange Technologies:

RedOrange Technologies is a new venture of RedOrange Communication – a Dutch-Bangladeshi social innovation company with over a decade of experience in behavior change, creative communications, and development sector impact.

We are building a technology company with a social soul. Our mission is to convert the trust RedOrange has earned over the years into scalable, AI-powered software products that solve real-world challenges in compliance, sustainability, and social impact.

Operating at the intersection of Dhaka and the Netherlands, we deliver world-class software at a fraction of the cost. We are not just a consultancy, we are a product company – one that ships software, earns recurring revenue, and builds technology that matters.

We are looking for a Technical Business Development & Program Manager to join us at the ground floor and help shape both our revenue engine and our program delivery capabilities.

Position Overview:

As the Technical Business Development & Program Manager at RedOrange Technologies, you will serve a dual role:

1. Business Development: You will be the bridge between the trust RedOrange has built over the years and the software revenue we aim to generate. Your mission is to convert relationships into revenue by leveraging RedOrange Communication’s decade-plus client network in the development, NGO, and public-sector space across Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and Southeast Asia.

2. Program Management: You will own the end-to-end delivery of technology programs and projects – from scoping and planning to execution, monitoring, and successful handover. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work directly with the CEO, the product and engineering teams to align the product roadmap with customer needs. You will own the full lifecycle – from prospecting to closing to delivery – and play a pivotal role in building a predictable, scalable, and reliable business.

This is not a traditional sales or project management role. You are not just selling a finished product; you are co-creating solutions with early customers and shaping both the product and the delivery engine from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Part A: Business Development

Leverage Agency Trust to Drive Revenue:

  • Identify the top 20–30 clients from RedOrange Communication’s existing portfolio who are most likely to convert to software subscriptions.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers in development organizations, NGOs, and public-sector agencies.
  • Convert existing project-based relationships into recurring, subscription-based software partnerships.
  • Translate client needs into product requirements and work with the product and engineering team to develop solutions and MVPs.
  • New Business Development & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the development, compliance, and sustainability sectors.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers in Bangladesh and international markets, including the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
  • Conduct discovery calls, workshops, and product demonstrations to understand customer pain points and communicate product value.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Building:

  • Build partnerships with development organizations, donor agencies, and technology partners to expand RedOrange Technologies’ reach.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums in Bangladesh and abroad.
  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and prospecting to contract signing.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and provide regular sales pipeline updates and forecasts to the CEO.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.

  • Part B: Program & Project Management

    Program Planning & Execution:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology programs and projects, managing the full lifecycle from initiation to successful handover.
  • Define and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, and risks.
  • Coordinate testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release planning, deployment readiness, and production go-live activities.
  • Agile & SDLC Management:

  • Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress using Agile and project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Asana.
  • Guide project teams in Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and delivery forecasting.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and the software engineering team.
  • Drive structured communication across stakeholders by translating business requirements into clear development tasks.
  • Provide clear visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and progress to leadership and clients.
  • Resource & Risk Management:

  • Identify and proactively address resource gaps and discrepancies to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage project risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Balance competing demands and priorities across multiple projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product team to ensure customer feedback informs the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to scope and price custom technology solutions.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content.
