Mr. Schoen has more than 30 years’ experience in strategy development, monitoring & evaluation, and organisation of (Government) communication, mediation, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs. He has designed and implemented effective communication programmes engaging a diverse set of stakeholders in complex policy areas in environmental, financial, and judicial sectors. He has extensive experience in South Asia, having worked on several projects in the nature, environment, and water sectors. He has been the Team Leader of several teams and his diplomatic, coaching approach leads to lasting solutions and sustainable self-reliant capacity in (governmental) organisations. He has experience in more than 50 different countries, on projects financed by the European Commission, World Bank, UN, Asian Development Bank, KfW, Netherlands Government, and other donors.
