IMAGE Plus: Initiatives for Married Adolescent Girl’s Empowerment

IMAGE plus is the second phase of the IMAGE project (2014) which focuses on the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of married adolescent children, improving their access to education and livelihood opportunities and raising awareness to reduce GBV. Bangladesh has one of the world’s highest rates of child marriage. This project is reaching out to 9000 early married girls in the northern districts of Bangladesh so that they can have a life with dignity, realizing their full rights and potentials.

This project was co-created by RedOrange and Terre des Hommes Netherlands in collaboration with SKS Foundation, Terre des hommes Foundation and Pollisree. It is funded by The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
